Tastings - A Wine Experience

What size does my store need to be?
There are two store model sizes, small and large. The smaller stores will be anywhere from 1,500 square feet to 2,500 square feet. The larger stores will be anything above that. The size of your store will depend greatly on the market area.
What is Tastings?
Tastings is a wine bar and retail wine shop that allows customers to taste all the wines before buying. We are able to accomplish this through state-of-the-art machinery that keeps all the wines fresh for up to a month!
Do I need Previous Experience
No previous experience is necessary. It is important, however, to be passionate about wine and willing to learn.
What are my start-up costs?
The start-up cost will depend on the size of the store, but will usually start at around $300,000.
What are my royalty fees?
The royalty fees are 5% of gross sales.

Will I be purchasing my wine inventory from Tastings?
No, all the wine will be purchased from approved distributors in your area.
Tastings serves food, is there a kitchen?
Tastings does indeed serve food, but there is no kitchen. All the food is prepped during the day at the food prep station behind the bar.
What are my advertising costs?
1% of your gross sales will need to be set aside for local advertising. Another 1% will go to the Franchisor to be set aside in a national advertising account.
